Noise
Noise is the biggest complaint from people living near wind farms. The noise standards for wind farms are defined in a document known as ETSU-R-97. It’s a controversial document, as its authors advised, when they wrote it in 1997, that it should be revised after two years. Thirteen years later, this still has not been done.
